Each August, The Parkway participates in the Great Place to Work Survey. This is a time where staff can be open and honest about their feedback. The data is collected by a third party, so it truly is anonymous. It is so important for us to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly to know what we can work on to truly make our community a great place to work.
As the Business Office Director, I make it a priority to consistently promote employee appreciation. We regularly take time to recognize our hardworking team members. Each week, we celebrate our employees through Creative Follow-ups (CFUs) to express our gratitude for their dedication. We keep these CFUs fresh and exciting by varying our celebrations. From honoring Arrow’s traditions and national holidays to showing support for our local sports teams, we ensure every CFU is a unique way to show our appreciation.
We believe when done right, making work a fun place creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
