National Assisted Living Week is a special time when assisted living communities come alive with celebrations that bring residents together. It’s a chance to share stories, make memories, and enjoy events that show the strong bond among residents, caregivers, and families. This year, the theme is Season of Reflection. This week is important to our community because we love to spotlight what great things we have going on in Assisted Living. That includes excellent care, awesome events, and delicious food. Our residents and staff deserve some extra fun festivities!
At The Parkway Senior Living, we are honoring residents’ lives and experiences by celebrating with a week-long party through the decades. Every day we will have different events for residents and staff. As the Resident Services Director, I am most excited about celebrating our awesome staff and residents every day for a week!
Taking the time to celebrate National Assisted Living Week is important. To me, Season of Reflection means to stop and take time to reflect on what’s important in life and focus on family, friends, and health.
It’s not only a time to celebrate, but also an opportunity to appreciate the staff and volunteers who make assisted living communities what they are today! This week highlights the power of connections, memories, and the spirit of togetherness that makes every resident feel at home.
