Our maintenance team follows some essential safety measures to ensure a safe, smooth-running, and pleasant summer for everyone.
We inspect air conditioning units regularly to ensure they function correctly and replace air filters to maintain air quality. Thermostats are set at comfortable temperatures, and cooling is monitored in common areas and resident rooms.
We educate residents on staying hydrated and avoiding peak heat hours by distributing flyers and holding meetings. We also promote indoor events during extreme heat to keep residents engaged and safe.
In our community, I check condenser units throughout the building to ensure they are clean and debris-free. I also change filters in all units to maintain proper airflow. A useful summer safety tip for all Arrow communities is keeping a coil cleaner case on hand. While changing filters for HVAC units, you can use the coil cleaner to spray and clean any dirty condenser coils.
